Why A Support Group?

There are many ways that you can benefit from our monthly support groups...especially If a member of your family or a loved one has been touched by Down Syndrome. Support Groups There are many ways that you can benefit from our monthly support groups...especially If a member of your family or a loved one has been touched by Down Syndrome. Support Groups  provide information, support our families and members and share the experiences, successes and failures that have brought us here.

Let's face it, there is an overwhelming amount of information out there and it grows daily...by the truckload.  One of the ways you can better navigate this world of information is by speaking face to face with people that have walked a mile in your shoes, people who are living, coping and thriving with the some of the same challenges.

Thanks To All
who participated in our Valentines Party...thank you for coming and we certainly hope you and your family enjoyed it.. At last count, we had 57 adults/children in attendance -- WOW! We were able to welcome one of our newest families – the Ward family. It’s greatly as wonderful to see some of our older children in attendance so the younger families of infants can know ‘THE SKY IS THE LIMIT’. Pictures will be posted on the website and the GCDSS Facebook page soon.

Please make every effort to join us and invite your family members and friends as well. We welcome all and appreciate you making the effort to help us build a brighter future together.
