Why A Support Group?

There are many ways that you can benefit from our monthly support groups...especially If a member of your family or a loved one has been touched by Down Syndrome. Support Groups There are many ways that you can benefit from our monthly support groups...especially If a member of your family or a loved one has been touched by Down Syndrome. Support Groups  provide information, support our families and members and share the experiences, successes and failures that have brought us here.

Let's face it, there is an overwhelming amount of information out there and it grows daily...by the truckload.  One of the ways you can better navigate this world of information is by speaking face to face with people that have walked a mile in your shoes, people who are living, coping and thriving with the some of the same challenges.

Support Groups

Nothing is impossible to overcome if you surround yourself with the love and support of friends and family. The GCDSS family is a close knit group of friends and family bound together by a loved one who has been touched by Down Syndrome. If you have never attended one of our Support Groups you are missing out on a wealth of knowledge, experience and the fellowship that is so freely given.

Please make every effort to join us and invite your family members and friends as well. We welcome all and appreciate you making the effort to help us build a brighter future together.
